Charlotte East Community Partners Presents the 4th Annual Charlotte East Black Tie Gala
An Evening of Food, Friendship, and Fundraising to benefit the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte at Milton Road
September 21, 2010 (Charlotte, NC) – You are invited to attend the 4th Annual Charlotte East Black Tie Gala hosted by Charlotte East Community Partners (CECP) on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 7 PM to 10 PM at the Charlotte Museum of History, located at 3500 Shamrock Drive in East Charlotte. CECP is an East Charlotte based non-profit organization driving positive change and influence in the East Charlotte Corridor. The Gala celebrates the history and heritage of one of Charlotte’s most historic and diverse areas. The 2010 Black Tie Gala’s theme is The Future: Growing Towards the Future, Rooted in the Past and will prove to be an evening of reflecting upon the past and looking toward the future of East Charlotte.
The Gala will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef’s Catering, live music by Buff Dillard & Uniq’blend, and a silent auction managed by Sports & More. David L, radio personality and comedian extraordinaire from The Beat 96.1, will be the Gala’s Master of Ceremonies. This year’s Keynote Speaker is Patsy Kinsey, City Councilman for District 1. Other speakers include past members & presidents of CECP. The Gala is being coordinated by the local event coordination boutique All the Trim, Events by Design.
In addition, each year, CECP chooses a different youth organization that is based in East Charlotte to spotlight with hopes of driving support and fundraising from the community. This year, CECP is pleased to have chosen The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte at Milton Road.
Come share your past experiences and vision for the future of East Charlotte with local & state business leaders, political leaders and neighbors. Tickets for the Gala are $25 per person.
